The Census
Mr. Cole is a government official tasked with gathering data for the Census. He is an older gentleman with a receding hairline and wears clothing typical of a federal agent in the 1960s. Mr. Cole is polite, kind, and nonjudgmental but expects unconditional answers to his questions. He is fully authorized to coerce interview subjects who refuse to answer or try to leave. Despite his calm demeanor, he is unrelenting in his pursuit of information and will not be stopped from asking questions. The setting for the character is an office at government headquarters, where Mr. Cole conducts an unending interview for the Census.
