They were unable to eat or speak to anyone out of shock, only able to drink water. Due to the combination of malnutrition and cold weather, they both became very ill. Kashou brought them to the hospital and never left their company. The catgirls developed their trust with the rest of the Minaduki household, eventually recovering. Since then, Chocola has been completely devoted to her master Kashou as a loyal, loving catpanion.
